In 2015, inspired by Steven Burda - the world's most connected person on LinkedIn, I undertook the challenge to try and take his crown. Campaigning for a year GetLinkedTim built an audience through meaningful connections, sharing ideas and stories, and developing relationships with like-minded individuals and businesses.
Starting with just 253 connections, I built my base audience to over 35,000 unique connections, + a following of 45,000. While it is hard to maintain a relationship with each connection, I have over 200+ conversations continuing with connections on a daily basis regarding TimeZoneOne, idea sharing, and general brand building. With connections worldwide, touching every continent, TimeZoneOne has found the concept to be an amazing success, proving to our client base that LinkedIn is an effective social media tool.
Moreover, it has helped me connect with people who I would not ordinarily meet, giving me the opportunity to learn from the best.
