Here at TimeZoneOne, I'm both a content generator and a webmaster, which means I oversee content from birth, to the day it finally lives on a website. I'm like a dad of ideas.
My specialty is in writing and editing, with a focus on adapting the voice and tone of your content to appeal to your visitors. I find an odd delight in shaping content through the lens of your overall strategy. I know it’s a bit weird, but there it is. I like my job.
Much of my time here at TimeZoneOne is spent managing EnjoyIllinois.com for the Illinois Office of Tourism, for whom I also contribute content for public relations, newsletters, and anything else that needs a keen editor's eye and ear.
In my six months at TimeZoneOne, I've come to love our integrated approach to projects. Not only does it make for better results for you, it also satisfies both sides of my brain. I love to be creative, but I also love to solve problems and learn about digital strategy. Sending a support ticket to our developers is actually fun for me, since it means I get to work with them!
Though Chicago has been my home for over six years, I'm originally from western New York State. As such, I'm a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills, which, if you know anything about NFL football, also makes me a masochist.
When I'm not rooting for another hopeless Bills season, I'm either writing or performing comedy around the city, including at the (world-famous, we'd like to think!) iO Theatre.
P.S. Since you now know both things about me, here's an article that combines two of my biggest passions—writing and the Bills—which I wrote in my past life at Groupon.
