The TimeZoneOne (TZO) story started in Christchurch, New Zealand 27 years ago, and as our American client base grew, we expanded to the USA. Today, our team is located in the US and New Zealand and is part of the Schafer Condon Carter (SCC) family, an independent, digitally driven, full service group of problem solvers who work together to make things happen for brands and businesses.

Together, our teams craft thoughtful experiences for clients in NZ, Australian and North American markets from local companies to major international brands. All with the ROI to go with it. It's challenging and it's very, very rewarding.

Our clients are a mix of tourism, destination, education, property, food, manufacturing & agriculture companies, selling into both international and domestic markets.

The Role: Content Manager

Your role is to develop content strategy and create high-quality content for TZO Clients, including digital content, blog posts, social content, e-newsletters, video scripts, presentation content, display advertising, and other marketing content as required. You will also collaborate with the creative and digital team to ideate for creative and digital projects.

You will partner with the wider TZO team to develop TZO marketing, including creating high quality content for TZO, and work with the business development team on new business presentations and proposals.

Your role also includes tracking the performance of digital content, identifying opportunities to optimize performance of clients’ websites, and preparing reports that present your findings and recommendations.

Experience crafting new business proposals is a plus.

In addition, you will look for opportunities to proactively add value to client partnerships by leading and educating clients, showcasing all aspects of TZO expertise, and presenting new project opportunities.

Skills & Experience


  • 3+ years of relevant integrated marketing experience 
  • Outstanding communication and writing skills
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing
  • Proven track record of creating exceptional content and creative ideas
  • Commitment to quality
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of an outstanding team
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Commitment toAn eye for detail and systematic processes 
  • Experience working with tight deadlines
  • US or NZ citizen or resident

  • A number of our clients are in the travel & tourism industry, so having the experience to apply insights and perspective in this area would be advantageous
