Ruby Bowden

I’m Ruby, I’m a Video Editor and Animator in the Christchurch office.

I’ve been making movies since I was a kid with a camcorder, with a folder of iMovie projects so extensive I filled up the 20GB harddrive on the family computer.

Since then, I’ve enjoyed exploring different mediums of the digital arts. I have a BFA in Film, and Diplomas in Photography and 3D Production.

As both a consumer and a creator, filmmaking is my favourite creative outlet. It’s the perfect blend of art and tech, and—in my opinion—is the most immersive form of storytelling. I love being able to collaborate with a team of people who have different experiences and skill sets to communicate a shared idea.

I also enjoy getting out into nature, going for a hike with my dog, and discovering new experiences and cultures through travel.
