79 Lichfield StreetWhen we heard that the Illinois Office of Tourism was sponsoring a NASCAR race, we were revving and rearing to take part. Our team was tasked with creating an activation for the Enjoy Illinois 300 that showcased tourism around the state, and further energized an already-pumped NASCAR crowd.
We figured people are coming to see cars race, so why not create a remote control racecar track so they can put themselves in the middle of the action. Pulling this off was a true test of the trans-Atlantic partnership between our Christchurch and Chicago offices, but the end result was incredible.

Over the three-day race weekend, the team raced hundreds of remote control cars through Illinois attractions, gave away epic trips, took countless photos, talked Illinois tourism all day and only got a little sunburned.
