Identifying key customer demographics
Working with the Ōhope Beach marketing team to analyse their visitor data, we created four
distinct audiences for targeting:
Demographic 1: 65+ Dog Friendly
The ads and creative were designed to appeal to older people who are more likely to book a
getaway during the week or outside of school holidays. Ōhope Beach TOP 10 is a dog-friendly park outside of the peak seasons, so we wanted this audience to see how easy it is to take their furry friend on holiday with them.
Demographic 2: Couples
Ōhope Beach is perfect for a romantic couples getaway. Of course you can take long walks
along the beach, but we wanted this audience to see all of the extra amenities that Ōhope
Beach TOP 10 has to offer. For example, the sauna, spa, private movie theatre and the wood-fired pizza oven.
Demographic 3: Families
Why entertain your kids at home during the winter school holidays? Ōhope Beach has pretty
fine weather, even during winter. With the beach on your doorstep, plus a mini golf course,
heated pools with hydroslides, playgrounds and an indoor games room, what’s not to love?
Remarketing Audience
There are plenty of people who have stayed at Ōhope Beach before, follow on social or have been to the website. Our remarketing strategy allows us to get in front of people who are aware of everything there is to do at the holiday park and have seen the ad previously.
