Vacancy: Digital Marketing Specialist (Chicago)

The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and measure marketing campaigns across Display, Search, Social, and Video, which includes overseeing the day-to-day execution/optimizations/reporting of campaigns via AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging platforms. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Specialist will implement SEO tactics to drive traffic growth for clients. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to,:

  • Create and publish digital marketing campaigns on various ad platforms
  • Execute best practices to ensure campaign spend is optimized
  • QA campaigns for accurate delivery (including set-up, creatives displaying correctly, URLs directing to the correct landing pages)
  • Provide proactive updates on campaign operations to ensure an on-time, accurate launch of all campaign deliverables
  • Pull reports and optimize campaigns to ensure budget is on pace and campaigns are meeting clients KPI goals and objectives
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to provide details for “do different” to be discussed in Wrap-Up reports
  • Audit client websites to identify areas of opportunity for SEO tactics

Key responsibilities include:

Digital (Social, Video, Display) media strategy & management

·     Develop digital media strategies for TZO clients based on previous performance

·     Drive short and long-term digital marketing strategies including defining goals, KPIs, leading copy, messaging and production

·     Develop social media calendars and execute post schedule for TZO clients

·     Collaborate with other TZO teams and other agencies to repurpose content for social, ensuring clients see strong ROI on their digital investments

·     Develop and execute high performing paid digital campaigns

·     Analyze digital media results and create report summaries

·     Identify opportunities for improving digital media performance

·     Analyse, test and optimize campaigns and present reports on spend and performance to clients

·     Manage day-to-day with the display paid Media Partners

Paid Search

·     Deliver high performing digital marketing campaigns

·     Plan and implement SEM and display campaigns for TZO clients

·     Analyse, test, and optimize campaigns and present reports on spend and performance to clients

SEO

30%

·       Report organic search and related SEO rankings to the client

·       Create UX recommendations based on website performance data

Administrative support

5%

·     Ensure social marketing disbursements are on billed.

·     Log all media spend in budget documents

·     Actively participate in weekly and team meetings.

 

Qualifications:

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing discipline, e.g digital marketing, marketing strategy, marketing, etc.
  • Past experiences working within the main digital marketing channels (social, paid search, display, SEO, etc)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including Social Media and/or Google Ads(Display, Search, etc.)
  • Understanding of search engine optimization techniques
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing trends
  • Passion for learning more about digital marketing
  • Ability to create insights and recommendations based on data
  • Commitment to quality
  • An eye for detail and systematic processes
  • Outstanding communication and writing skills
  • Experience working with tight deadlines.
