The TimeZoneOne (TZO) story started in Christchurch, New Zealand 27 years ago, and as our American client base grew, we expanded to the USA. Today, our team is located in the US and New Zealand and is part of the Schafer Condon Carter (SCC) family, an independent, digitally driven, full service group of problem solvers who work together to make things happen for brands and businesses.
Together, our teams craft thoughtful experiences for clients in NZ, Australian and North American markets from local companies to major international brands. All with the ROI to go with it. It's challenging and it's very, very rewarding.
Our clients are a mix of tourism, destination, education, property, food, manufacturing & agriculture companies, selling into both international and domestic markets.
The Role: Senior Account Manager
Our Client Engagement Manager will soon be leaving us for 13 months parental leave, so we’re on the hunt for a rock-star Senior Account Manager to lead our NZ clients over this period. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who likes collaboration as well as autonomy. A roll-up-your-sleeves type as we're small and each person wears a lot of hats. Positive attitude, optimistic at heart, casual, fun, can read a client or situation like a book and proactively bring solutions and opportunities. At the end of the 13-months, we will evaluate the business and determine if additional opportunities exist for potential ongoing employment.
Your role is to keep the NZ client base (we call them partners) engaged with TZO. We call them partners because we offer more than just account service, we offer them true business partnerships. It means contributing a mix of thinking that includes business/industry knowledge, thought leadership, client support, and project management.
You will provide strategic direction on digital, creative, strategy and content (seeking advice from our team experts), as well as day-to-day marketing support and advice as required. Given our agency’s expertise, it is important that you have previous experience managing digital projects – including website redesign, digital creative development, digital marketing, etc. You will liaise with your partners on all projects, and ensure that their business goals are always top of mind when discussing these projects internally.
You are responsible for keeping the TZO team engaged in delivering your clients’ goals. You will ensure that TZO project processes are followed, and that projects are delivered on time, to scope, and on budget. In addition, you may also support the agency with new business assignments. So, ideally you come with some experience in digging into proposals and scoping exercises with the broader agency team and leadership.
This position reports to the VP Client Engagement based in Chicago, with the support of the NZ GM. You will receive a mix of partners that cross industries/categories and require you to perform both leadership and support activity. There is also an opportunity to help guide/manage additional Client Engagement team members.
This role is strategically designed to challenge you and inspire ongoing career growth.
