Helping you be a hero
When Kiwicare approached TimeZoneOne in 2012, they came with a quest to be recognised as the authoritative voice in pest control, lawn and garden-care in New Zealand. Let’s be honest - in a country filled with DIY attitude and a great love for the outdoors, this was, and is, an incredibly lofty goal.
We started by mapping out the ideal Kiwicare customer journey. The goal was for Kiwicare to be recognised as the local experts for superior, safe, easy-to-use lawn, garden and pest
products that solve peoples' problems. Simply put - Kiwicare would give each and every one of their customers the power to become home & garden heroes.
KiwiCare's Main Objective
The Kiwicare website is a wealth of information. All of it is designed to help people identify the main source of their frustrations, and recommend the best solution to help them get the job done. Our job as web developers was streamlining the process - make it as simple as possible for visitors to the Kiwicare website to find the most relevant information, so they can have confidence that they’re buying the right products for their needs.
Smart marketing, continual product innovation and collaboration with development partners
globally have been the hallmark of Kiwicare's phenomenal growth in the New Zealand market.
By working in close partnership, TimeZoneOne has enhanced Kiwicare’s reputation, bringing them ever closer to their goal of being New Zealand’s authoritative voice on all-things garden-care and pest control.
KiwiCare's Problem Solver App
Kiwicare fans are people who love to be out and about around their home and garden. The thinking behind the Kiwicare app was to streamline the process for people to find real-time solutions.
More so than the website, the Kiwicare app is a dedicated problem-solving tool to help people identify and treat issues they’re dealing with around their home, garden or lawn.
Knowing which region you’re in will help eliminate some issues, making it easier to get to the root of your problem.
Asking more pointed questions allows the app to better understand what your issue is, suggest products and articles to help you solve it, plus allow you to ‘favourite’ that issue and treatment advice for future reference.
Kiwicare doesn’t sell products through the website or the app, so the store geo-locator can point you in the right direction to pick up what you need.
Outstanding Web Solutions
Creating the Kiwicare app was such a rewarding experience for our development team. This tool allowed us to take a digital strategy for the app, then design, build, test and spearhead a continual cycle of improvements.
