The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals.
The Award of Excellence honors TimeZoneOne’s work for Navy Pier’s successful “More Than You Imagine” brand campaign focusing on changing locals’ perception about the Pier. The campaign took a persona-driven approach to invite Chicagoans and travelers to take a second look at the Pier and all of its available offerings. The agency’s work aligned with the brand’s goal of bringing the “People’s Pier” vision to life and business objectives of driving an increase in annual visitation.
The Award of Distinction recognizes TimeZoneOne for its creative work for Navy Pier’s Fifth Third Bank Winter WonderFest. The annual Chicago winter event features 170,000 square feet of children’s rides, giant slides, holiday-themed activities and treats, and even an indoor ice skating rink. To promote the event and showcase the variety of winter activities, the team took an illustrated approach in order to bring the whimsical nature of the event to life.
